Job Description
The practice of speech-language pathology shall include assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, education, communication, and demonstration of techniques addressing speech-language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to meet the needs of patients and their families with supervisory guidance provided as needed. Otherwise, a speech-language pathologist shall work independently without direct supervision.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Conferred from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Coursework/Training: Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Upon hire: Texas Speech Language Pathologist License. License in state of hire and wherever care is delivered.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology - American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Facility Managed)
- 2 years of Professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Educated or trained in dysphagia assessment and management.
- 1 year of Acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
