Provide advanced pediatric speech-language pathology services forchildrenbirth–18 in outpatient and early intervention settings. You will assess communication profiles, develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting receptive/expressive language, oral-motor skills, verbal behavior, social language, and play; collaborate daily with multidisciplinary teams; deliver parent/school education; and coordinate care to meet client goals while following professional and system Operational Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, assess, and synthesize speech and language profiles using functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments, observations, checklists, histories, and interviews; produce comprehensive written reports to inform treatment planning
• Plan, implement, and modify individualized therapy targeting receptive/expressive communication, oral-motor planning, verbal behavior, social language/interaction, and play skills
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (OT, ABA, psychology, psychiatry, etc.), physicians, families/guardians, schools, and community providers to coordinate care and support client goals
• Develop and deliver education for parents, teachers, and professionals; participate in program development and implementation of educational series as appropriate
• Manage caseload and time effectively, maintain documentation per Clinical Records Department procedures, and comply with HIPAA and Quality Assurance processes
• Participate in required meetings, contribute to program evaluation/data collection, and seek supervisory guidance as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Valid Missouri license to practice speech-language pathology required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) required; credentials must be in good standing
• Knowledge of pediatric speech‑language professional literature and evidence‑based practice preferred
Additional Qualifications:
• Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and establish professional relationships by phone and in person
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports, documentation, and group communication
• Ability to follow direction, accept supervision, and incorporate constructive feedback
• Strong clinical reasoning, adaptability, and initiative in changing job demands
• Successful completion of background checks as required
• Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance required if role requires travel
• Completion of New Hire Orientation and required trainings (including Relias) at hire and annually thereafter
Physical Requirements
• Frequently required to sit and stand for extended periods; occasional walking for field activities
• Frequent use of hands/fingers for writing, typing, and computer/mouse use
