Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – PRN Location: Elderwood at Burlington Pay Rate: $65.00 per hour Schedule: Per Diem (PRN)
Elderwood at Burlington is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a PRN basis. The Speech-Language Pathologist assists in ensuring the health and well-being of residents by developing and implementing individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans and providing high-quality therapeutic services.
This position plays a vital role in maintaining the highest degree of quality care at all times.
Evaluate residents to determine speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
Provide speech-language therapy services in accordance with physician orders and facility standards
Conduct audiometric screenings upon request and recommend further audiology services as appropriate
Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated resident care
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Vermont)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Competitive PRN rate of $65/hour
