Specjalista/ka ds. Podatków/Tax Senior Expert

What you do:

• Provide tax reports, manage tax issues and support closing activities related to tax processes, perform closing activities for VAT and CIT (appropriately monthly and yearly)
• Perform tax settlements and tax declaration/return submission (VAT and CIT), as well as correction of declaration if needed
• Solve complex tax issues and give tax advice/guidance to accounting teams
• Gather relevant data and supporting documentation in tax compliance process
• Supporting daily operations in terms of VAT and CIT compliance process for EU entities
• Preparation and extraction of VAT related analysis, accounts and reports
• Participation in tax related projectsManage tax payment process
• Assistance in tax refund processManage country specific reporting requirements to tax authorities
• Manage changes in legal requirementsAssistance in tax audits
• Comply with tax operational standards and procedures
• Ensure alignment between indirect Tax filings, EU Sales Listing and ERP-System and other systems
• Participate actively in meetings with our business partners (legal, business finance, IT and accounting teams) to share information and address various business initiatives
• Challenging and reviewing current processes, process improvements

Who you are:

• University degree preferable in Tax, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant degree
• 5 years’ experience in tax compliance / tax accounting
• Working experience in tax advisory or in a multinational company; working knowledge of accounting processess for VAT, WHT for EU entities (CIT as nice to have)
• Qualified tax accountant with several years of experience in tax compliance / tax accounting / TP
• Understand the end-to-end process of Tax Operational activities
• English B2/C1
• German / other language is a plus
• Experience in SAP would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with Finance and non-Finance staff at various levels
• Very strong attention to detail and ability to handle complex task
• Advanced level of capability to translate digital technologies into processes
• Tax advisor license would be a plus
