This role focuses oncreating and maintainingworkinstructionsfor the equipment and processes used in manufacturing. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES(typical dutiesand functions)
Writes, rewrites and/or editssite leveloperating procedures to maintain compliance with countless regulating bodies.
Writes, rewrites and/or editsdetailed assembly work instructionsin accordance withthe corporatequality management system (QMS)standards andreleased templatestoclearly and effectivelycommunicate technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.
Acquires subjectmatterknowledge by interviewingmanufacturing engineers, technicians, observing performance of production methods,referring toCAD modelsandreviewingpreviously released documentation
Takes photos and createsillustrations, diagrams, tablesand charts as required to convey assembly instructions.
Managesreleaseand approval workflowsof work instructionsinto thecorporateProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool(SiemensTeamcenter)
Holds or facilitates document reviewsto flush out any safety concerns, assembly issues andoperator feedback prior to release.

Primary Level Salary Range: $21.66 - $36.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $25.70 - $42.79The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
