About the role:

  • Identify high-potential sectors, projects, and organisations within the assigned region, developing strategic relationships that align with FSi Promat’s growth objectives and market strategy.
  • Influence specification decisions throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring FSi Promat solutions are considered at the earliest stages of project development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Project Tracking, Technical Services, Business Development, Commercial teams, and external supply chain partners, to maximise project opportunities and strengthen the sales pipeline.
  • Monitor market activity and provide regular feedback to the National Specification Manager and Product Management teams on market trends, customer needs, competitor activity, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Support product development initiatives by contributing market insight, customer feedback, and innovative ideas to help shape future FSi Promat products and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, projects, opportunities, and activities within the company CRM system, ensuring compliance with company processes and reporting requirements.
  • Manage and progress a portfolio of projects within the region, ensuring opportunities are effectively tracked and converted into business growth.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Etex Building Performance, consistently promoting a positive company image and demonstrating company values in all interactions with customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Represent the business professionally at industry events, meetings, and customer engagements, building credibility and strengthening relationships across the marketplace.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in a technical sales, specification, or construction-related role.
  • Strong understanding of UK construction design and procurement processes.
  • Experience working with architects, designers, or specifiers and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities independently and build strong customer relationships.
  • Commercial awareness with an understanding of market trends and business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction design software (e.g., CAD/BIM).

Why join us?

  • Etex's strong purpose 'Building Better together' is shaping a new future for the construction industry and helping to build a better future for all.
  • Our culture – we connect & care about those around us. We nurture teamwork, communities, partnerships and new ways of working, placing the highest importance on the safety and working environment of our people.
  • Our ‘Road to Sustainability 2030’ is our plan to help build a better, sustainable future. We work towards this vision by caring about our social and environmental impacts and developing innovative solutions.
