The Specialty Scheduling Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Imaging department by coordinating and scheduling inpatient, outpatient, and outreach services. This position ensures seamless patient care by processing physician orders, coordinating multi-level appointments across departments, and serving as the primary liaison for outreach facilities. Responsibilities include managing Epic work queues, assisting patients with MyChart, communicating appointment details and preparation instructions, and maintaining confidentiality at all times. The role is essential in supporting care teams and enhancing the overall patient experience.
