Job Description

Position Title: Specialist - Technical Support Blades

Service Quality Blade Technician, will be responsible for evaluating inspection and repair documentation uploaded to SNOW, providing after-hours technical support, and collaborating closely with the local NA RFS Blade Team, Technical Back Office, and Level 2 support located in Hamburg, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • BAM SNOW level 1 evaluations
  • Remote technical support and provides guidance on non-conformities identified during external and internal inspections of wind turbine blades.
  • Repair Report evaluations
  • Inspection findings from Service now ticket.
  • Once inspections and repair completed we will have repair report.
  • Repair report need to be evaluated and shared with team
  • After hour support – receive request from TBO, LOM, service now to support at site level.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Experience

  • BE/B Tech Degree required.
  • Ability to read composite technical drawings and understand processes.:
  • Performed coating and structural repairs of internal and external composite structures, such as wind turbine blades and nacelles.
  • Computer skills to include MS Office, Service Now, Power BI, SAP, AI
  • 4+ year’s Experience working in the field/manufacturing as a WTG Blade technician
  • Ready to work in flexible shifts to support teams across global regions.
