
Michigan State University (MSU) College of Engineering is seeking an innovative Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering Teaching Specialist to develop and teach courses at the undergraduate level in electrical circuits, electronic hardware security, and troubleshooting mechatronic systems. This position is a full-time, fixed-term, academic year (9-month) appointment with an anticipated start date of August 16, 2026. The appointment is a renewable three-year contract, contingent upon positive annual performance reviews and mutual agreement. While this position is offered on a fixed-term basis, we are actively seeking individuals who aspire to establish a lasting career in teaching and academic service at our institution.
The selected candidate will join the faculty team of the new Technology Engineering (TechE) program. The new Technology Engineering program in the College of Engineering brings together the strengths of electrical, mechanical, and computer engineering with computer science to create a truly interdisciplinary experience.
