Job Description

YOUR TASKS:

  • Balancing spare parts demands and availability through accurate and timely ordering
  • Constant information exchange between all internal and external parties involved as well as proactively initiating mitigation actions in case of potential supply shortages
  • Optimisation of central and local stocks by incorporating and continuously improving the overall material availability
  • Comprehensive supplier management through monitoring and optimisation of reliability, quality and costs for materials and logistics
  • Acting as a focal point for the spare parts supply of the category of Minor Components assigned
  • Participating in tenders for the supply of spare parts in close cooperation with the strategic procurement department
  • Independent complaints handling and invoice review


YOUR PROFILE:

Ideally, you have at least 5 years of experience in material planning, tactical procurement and supplier management. Well-founded thinking in SAP structures complements your profile.

  • Degree in Business Administration or Economics, preferably with a focus on supply chain management or logistics
  • Alternatively, comparable vocational training with corresponding additional qualification
  • Motivated and committed personality with a high drive and ownership
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to work in an international team
  • Experience in working with different business cultures and building strong personal relationships
  • Sound knowledge of SAP ECC (mainly module MM) and MS Office, additional knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and Teamcenter would be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English; ideally also in Spanish and / or German on a good level
  • Willingness to travel if needed, especially between the company locations in Germany-Hamburg, Germany-Rostock and Spain
