This role sits at the intersection of sustainability, corporate strategy, market intelligence, venture identification and development, and business growth. You will help shape Capital Power's long-term strategic direction by evaluating emerging opportunities, assessing evolving market dynamics, supporting sustainability disclosures and direction, and providing critical insights on the macroeconomic and the broader energy landscape.
Working closely with teams throughout the organization as well as external partners, you will support the identification, evaluation, and advancement of lower-carbon and growth opportunities while helping ensure Capital Power's sustainability performance, reporting, and strategic positioning continue to create long-term value.
The successful candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and curiosity, translating complex information into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leadership. From evaluating emerging technologies and market trends, to supporting joint venture governance and sustainability disclosures, to assessing customer needs and future growth pathways, this role offers the opportunity to influence key pillars within the Energy markets and Low Carbon Solutions and Ventures team.
