ABOUT THE ROLE

The SpecialistSoftwareEngineerwillberesponsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintainingsoftware applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applicationswithin the Clinical Computation Platform Product Team.This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business partners and other software engineers to develop and deploy the latest, advanced technologies in support of product optimization

• Work closely with the delivery and platform teams to ensure that the applications are aligned with standard city planning approved architectural and development guidelines

• Possesses strong rapid prototyping skills and can quickly translate concepts into working code

• Develophigh‑qualityUI components andfront‑endapplication features using modern JavaScript frameworks

• Translate concepts, wireframes, and UX designs into fully functional user interfaces

• Take ownership ofUI‑relateddevelopment tasks from design through deployment

• Build responsive, accessible, and performant web applications across devices and browsers

• Work with designers and product partners to ensure UI work aligns withuser‑centricstandards

• Contribute tofront‑endandback‑enddevelopment where needed, integrating UI with APIs and cloud services

• Support requirements gathering and specification creation process for the development work

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

• Create andmaintaindocumentation on software architecture, design, deployment, disaster recovery, and operations

• Identifyand resolve technical challenges effectively

• Perform system testing and validation to ensure all components function correctly and efficiently

• Implement automation tools and processes to improve the efficiency and reliability of managed systems

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s / Bachelor's degree with 9 - 12 years of experience in Computer Science,ITor relatedfield

Functional Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strongproficiencyin modern UI frameworks (React, Angular,Vueor similar).

• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, andcomponent‑basedarchitecture.

• Experience with programming languages like Python and Java

• Experience withdatabases likeSQL, Oracle, Redshift

• Experience integrating UI with backend APIs, cloud services, or microservices.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum

• Experience with DevOps tools and practices

• Strong understanding of systems engineering processes and methodologies

• Familiarity with UI testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright).

• Experience with design systems or UIcomponentlibraries.

• Cloud-native development experience (AWS)

• Experience with systems integration and validation

• Experience with Clinical Domain andGxPregulations

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams

Shift Information:

This position requires you to work a later shift and may beassigneda second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, asrequiredbased on business requirements.
