Compensation: £53,560 / year


Priory Hospital Roehampton are looking for a Specialist Services Team Manager to join the team on a full time basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

Priory Hospital Roehampton, a registered hospital in London, is a welcoming and highly respected rehab facility, offering expert mental health and addiction treatment. We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.

What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Therapy Business Manager, you will lead and manage a multidisciplinary therapy team delivering specialist CAMHS and Eating Disorder services, while holding an agreed clinical caseload. You will provide operational and clinical leadership, overseeing workforce planning, caseloads, performance, and service delivery to ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based care for children and young people. The role includes risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with governance frameworks, as well as contributing to service development and continuous improvement. You will foster a supportive, accountable team culture through supervision and professional development and work collaboratively across hospital services to support integrated pathways and continuity of care.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Registered HCPC healthcare professional and/or accredited psychotherapist (BACP/BABCP/UKCP)
  • Proven leadership skills to motivate and manage a diverse therapy team
  • Strong understanding of therapy roles within mental health settings
  • Experience in supervision, staff retention, and people management
  • Calm, supportive approach in high-pressure environments
  • Commercial/business experience, including cost management and budgeting (P&L)
  • Flexible and responsive to changing service and business needs
  • Line management experience desirable; knowledge of Priory people-management policies beneficial
  • Focus on business development and innovation to maximise service opportunities
