ROLE: SAP APO GATP consultant

ROLE DESCRIPTION

• The APO GATP consultant role is for enabling implementation or Application Support of process and technology solutions related to diagnosis, analysis and transformation of Order confirmation and availability functions in a project. The following are key responsibilities: Designing, configuration, Testing, training and documentation in SAP APO GATP projects in customer organizations.
• A team player willing to learn and contribute within the Organization on APO GATPHelp with building Assets and Accelerators within SAP APO GATP and reduce the overall cost to serve

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• At least 4 years of experience in SAP APO GATP module
• Experience in at least 2 APO GATP projects i.e. should include implementation
• Exposure to SD processes in ECC

PROCESS KNOWLEDGE

• Understanding of basic Order confirmation and availability processes
• Understanding of overall Sales and Distribution processes

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

• Good level of expertise in APO GATP.
• Ability to design and primarily configure APO GATP solution while understanding the integration aspects between different modules within APO as well as of APO with ERP systems
• Ability to work on configuration scenarios along with writing functional specifications for customizations
• Ability to prepare training material to train the client core team
• Experience in writing test scripts for enabling Unit tests, Integration tests and UAT.

HANDS ON EXPERIENCE

• Configuring
• Back order processing
• Rules based ATP
• Allocations
• MATP and CTP
• Ability to articulate advantages or additional functionalities of GATP over ATP in ECC
• Ability to articulate advantages or additional functionalities of AATP in S4 over APO GATP
• Integration with APO DP like Allocations and PPDS

SOFT SKILLS

• Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written
• Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment.
• Good Team player
