Our team:

The Sales team helps educational institutions achieve better learning outcomes through Pearson's portfolio of English Language Learning solutions, including digital products, print materials, assessments, and services.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Specialist Sales Representative to drive profitable growth by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing accounts across Pearson’s ELL portfolio.

In this role, you will work closely with school leaders, institution owners, academic teams, and other key stakeholders to understand their educational and business needs, position Pearson’s value proposition, and deliver solutions that support student success and institutional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow new sales opportunities and nurture existing accounts across a diversified portfolio of ELL products and services.
  • Build strong relationships with school owners, directors, academic leaders, and teachers.
  • Present Pearson’s value proposition and demonstrate academic, operational, and business impact.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for renewals, upselling, and account growth.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasts, and CRM records.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in sales, business development, or account management.
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience engaging senior decision-makers and influencing stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in education, EdTech, publishing, language learning, or related industries is a plus.
  • English (B1/B2)
