Specialist Reimbursement (m/f/d)

This position works out of Abbott GmbHin the Diabetes Care division.

Primary Objective of Position

  • Escalation management with health insurances (SHIs), reimbursed patients (including single case issues) and with all related internal & external stakeholders (e.g. Market Access, Customer Service, Reimbursement service provider, etc.).

Major Accountabilities

  • Handling escalation management in close contact with SHIs as well as internal & external stakeholders
  • Analyzing reimbursement processes, identifying gaps and suggesting improvements to Business Operations Analysts
  • Being key contact for SHIs and internal & external stakeholders with respect to process questions.
  • Supporting for SHIs and internal & external stakeholders with respect to process questions.
  • Liaising with market access, e-commerce as well as customer service team to improve the escalation resolution processes
  • Interacting with internal and external service providers to ensure prompt resolution of inquiries.
  • Dealing with all sorts of ad-hoc requests concerning the entire reimbursement process
  • TRAVEL: <5%

Qualification

  • Completed Abitur or adequate mercantile apprenticeship with on the job experience.
  • Adequate University degree is a plus
  • 1 to 3 years of work experience required.
  • Experience in escalation management preferred
  • Work experience in eCommerce or in a customer service setting, ideally for health insurances preferred
  • Work experience with reimbursement processes preferred
  • Ideally international exposure through education and work within an international corporation.
  • Excellent MS-Office skills
  • Genernal interest in and understanding of IT systems
  • Salesforce training preferred
  • Project Management certification preferred
