SES must implement the compliance requirements of the National Security Agreement (“NSA”) between SES and the U.S. Goverment “Team Telecom” national security regulators (Department of Defense, Department of Justice, Department of Homeland Security).
The incubment is responsible for supporting the NSA Security Officer and Senior Team Telecom Specialist in interfacing with multiple functional areas within the company to collect information and process requests for national security approvals of equipment, vendors, and personnel, transactions, as well as managing and updating associated databases and records.
S/he also supports the management and operation of the internal controls implemented to ensure the company’s NSA compliance. S/he works with the VP, Legal & Regulatory Affairs, Security Officer, and Senior Team Telecom Specialist, and will collaborate with stakeholders in legal, HR, operations, IT, procurement, and other departments to implement NSA compliance.
