Position: Registration Specialist (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. No weekends or holidays.
Location: Metro Indianapolis
Parking: Paid by department
Key Responsibilities
Welcome patients and manage check-in/check-out process
Review insurance information and verify demographics.
Complete pre-registration and schedule appointments.
Support medical assistants and understand provider preferences.
Troubleshoot patient issues and ensure smooth patient flow.
Answer incoming calls and direct patients/visitors appropriately.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to interpret insurance information.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a healthcare setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical practices.
Ability to learn and retain medical coding (ICD-10, CPT preferred).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve patient concerns.
Efficient, self-starter with strong time management skills.
