Job Description

Registration Specialist – OB-GYN

Schedule: Flexible start between  7:00 AM – 8:30 AM, Monday through Friday (No weekends or holidays).  Onsite position.

Locations: E. Washington St. & Fishers

Top Responsibilities

  • Patient scheduling and appointment coordination 

  • Pre-registration and accurate data entry 

  • Managing office correspondence and communication 

  • Facilitating patient flow from entry to destination in a timely, professional manner 

  • Validating financial and demographic information to ensure accurate records 

  • Explaining department/hospital policies to patients

Qualifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED 

  • Preferred:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting 

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical practices 

  • Ability to learn and retain medical coding (ICD-10, CPT) 

  • Understanding of insurance information and reimbursement processes 

  • Basic proficiency in  Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
