Title and Summary
Specialist, Product ManagementRole:
• Drive the evolution of Merchant Cloud’s Configuration Management and Backoffice platform, supporting scalable, consistent onboarding across products, regions, and merchant / partner segments.
• Own and refine product requirements for capabilities supporting merchant, partner, and product onboarding, translating business needs into clear, prioritized features and user stories.
• Contribute to end-to-end onboarding workflow design, including configuration management, readiness validation, and go-live orchestration, with a focus on reducing time-to-live and operational friction.
• Partner closely with Engineering, UX, and Architecture teams to deliver intuitive, self-service Backoffice tools that improve operational efficiency and enable repeatable onboarding at scale.
• Manage and groom the product backlog, defining acceptance criteria, supporting sprint execution, and ensuring features deliver measurable customer and operational value.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, supporting release planning, dependency tracking, and cross-team coordination to ensure predictable delivery.
• Engage with regional delivery, operations, and customer-facing teams to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and continuously improve onboarding experiences based on real-world usage.
All About You
• 5+ years of experience in payments, fintech, or platform-based technology environments, with at least 3+ year in a Product Manager, Associate PM, or Product Analyst role, ideally within onboarding, configuration, implementation, or integration-focused products.
• Working knowledge of API-driven platforms and system integrations, including REST APIs, authentication methods, webhooks, and versioned interfaces used in customer and partner onboarding.
• Exposure to payment gateway and product integrations, such as merchant onboarding to payment processing platforms, value-added services, or downstream operational systems.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end onboarding and integration lifecycles, including regional variations, regulatory considerations, and operational dependencies.
• Ability to break down complex technical and operational problems into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering teams can execute against.
• Comfort collaborating closely with Engineering, Architecture, and UX teams, participating in solution discussions, reviewing technical trade-offs, and supporting delivery decisions.
• Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs, tracking dependencies, risks, and delivery progress across multiple integrations or feature streams.
• Familiarity with onboarding and integration metrics, such as activation timelines, readiness status, integration success rates, error trends, or rework drivers.
• Clear and confident communicator capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders and aligning teams around scope and priorities.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
