JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Departmental Support – Create and execute deliverables, both independently and under the direction of team members, that contribute to improved outcomes. Assist in the development of reports, documents, presentations, and communication materials for cross-sector and interdepartmental initiatives. Compile, maintain, and manage centralized resource libraries and knowledge repositories.
  • Administrative Support – Set up and manage call schedules and coordinate meetings with other departments/divisions, community partners, and local, national, or international experts. Coordinate and schedule all logistics related to assigned projects and programs, including meetings, conferences, conference calls, and other appointments. Prepare meeting agendas, take and distribute meeting notes, track action items, and coordinate development of resultant materials and deliverables. Serve as a liaison between clinical, operational, research, data analytics, and community teams. Adapt to scheduling and communication needs of diverse internal and external interest holders.
  • Program/Project Coordination – Coordinate assigned projects, including development and maintenance of plans, timelines, milestone tracking, progress monitoring, and resource requirements. Contribute to strategic planning and development processes, identify opportunities for growth, and support implementation of new initiatives. Determine priorities for responsibilities and assignments based on importance and urgency. Track the progress of initiatives and prepare internal reports and stakeholder communications. Understand and meet expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness.
  • Research Coordination/Scholarly Dissemination – Provide early-stage research coordination, including support for study start-up activities, regulatory documentation, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) preparation and submission processes. Assist project teams in establishing standardized and centralized approaches to data collection, storage, documentation, and data quality monitoring. Coordinate data collection and storage workflows across project teams and interest holders. Coordinate recruitment and screening for research projects. Conduct literature reviews and environmental scans to inform program development, research design, manuscripts, grant applications, and strategic initiatives. Provide support for dissemination of scholarly work, including journal selection, alignment of manuscript outlines with journal-specific requirements, supplemental literature searches, and manuscript development support. Manage bibliographic databases and citation libraries to facilitate manuscript and proposal preparation. Assist with development, formatting, and proofreading of scholarly products. Design and prepare publication-ready figures, tables, and supplementary materials in accordance with journal requirements. Coordinate post-publication dissemination activities and support translation of academic research outputs into materials accessible to community, clinical, and operational audiences.
  • Collaboration and Adaptability – Pursue interdisciplinary collaboration across clinical, research, operational, academic, and community settings. Engage effectively with community members, organizations, and cross-sector partners. Demonstrate a strong emphasis on relationship building, collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability to change. Support diverse teams through the research, implementation, dissemination, and translation continuum. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and apply systems-thinking approaches to addressing population health and health equity challenges.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of work experience
  • OR Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of work experience
  • OR Master's Degree and 0+ years of work experience

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Writing, or related field
  • Experience providing editorial support
  • Experience in public health, health services, or community-engaged research
