Job Description

As Project Manager, you will lead cross functional development projects in an international team from concept to industrialization. You will work closely with the Technical Responsible, Quality Engineering, Production teams, and customers to ensure timely, cost effective and high-quality project execution. The project management tasks will be needed to support the entire project portfolio in Process R&D Global Blades team, covering the 3 local units under Process R&D Global Blades, performing projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end‑to‑end project management for new product and process development projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risk registers
  • Support business case development and manage project financials hereunder pre- and post-calculations, budget and forecast.
  • Plan and monitor project scope here under change agreements, risks, actions, and resource allocations.
  • Ensure fulfillment of project documentation, status updates, and Steer-co meetings
  • Coordinate with the Technical Responsible to align technical requirements, resource needs, and design maturity.
  • Facilitate collaboration between R&D, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal development processes and quality standards.
  • Lead project kick off’s, reviews, stage‑gate approvals, and cross‑functional status meetings.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding project progress, technical clarifications, and changes.
  • Identify risks and issues early and drive mitigation actions.
  • Support smooth handover from development to serial production during zero series.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Technology Management, or similar.
  • Prince 2 or IPMA certification
  • APQP certificate training completed
  • MS office (incl. MS project) trained user
  • Proven practical experience of minimum 5 years in project management within R&D, manufacturing, or technical product development and structured development processes (e.g., APQP, stage gate)
    • Ability to present showcases of projects and project tools used from gained experience
  • Several years of practical experience with structured development processes (e.g., APQP, stage‑gate)
  • Excellent communication skills and more than 5 years of customer‑facing experience.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work on international projects worldwide and support the projects with psychical presence when required.

  • Able to take responsibility for the project and take ownership for the team and deliveries.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to lead without direct authority.
  • Structured problem-solving mindset
  • Proactive attitude giving ability to predict risk and raise flags in the project
  • Must be able to work hands on in detail on planning, calculations, reporting etc. but still keep the overview and lead the team in the right direction
