Specialist Planner
As a Specialist Project Planner, you will join the APAC Airports Planning Team and be responsible for end-to-end planning management for all project activities, including large-sized and complex projects. You will clearly set out decision moments and turnaround times for and with all of the disciplines involved in a project. You will set up and develop an integrated project plan using Primavera P6, which ensures that opportunities and threats are identified in good time. Armed with your information and reports, project managers, project leaders, and subcontractors and their teams will be in a position to set or adjust their course promptly, wherever they are in the world. You will play a central role in the projects in which you are involved. You will report to project management and will be required to produce project reports in line with the contract requirements.
Project planners are part of the Domain Airports Team:
You will be responsible for your own projects at the Airports Domain APAC. You will set priorities, identify problems and take the steps necessary to resolve them (as part of a multidisciplinary approach). You will be involved in every phase of a project: from sales, engineering, supply and shipping to the commissioning of systems. As a project planner, you will work intensively with other disciplines, such as sales, project management, project engineering and the supply chain. You will be the key person in a project; you will identify the consequences of misalignment between the expectations of project management, engineering and the possibilities offered by the supply chain. Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) functionalities to calculate and analyze PV (Planned Value), EV (Earned Value), AC (Actual Cost), SPI (Schedule Performance Index), and CPI (Cost Performance Index), providing quantitative insights into project health. You will ensure that projects are completed successfully, providing clear, quantifiable analysis of project performance, key milestones, and associated risk.

Established in 1949, Vanderlande has more than 11,000 employees and a turnover of 2.3 billion euros.
Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) acquired Vanderlande in 2017 to cement its global leading position within material handling. It aims to achieve this by increasing its presence in all integrated and automated projects, and capitalising on the synergies between the organisations and the added value they offer to the market.
TICO therefore launched the Toyota Automated Logistics Group (TALG), which consists of Toyota L&F, Bastian Solutions, Vanderlande and viastore. TALG is a global partner for integrated logistic process automation, with its group companies collaborating under the guiding principle: for every challenge, a reliable solution.
In May 2025, Vanderlande completed the acquisition of Siemens Logistics' operations outside the USA and in doing so welcomed more than 2,000 new employees. The acquisition supports the company’s strategic ambition to accelerate its growth in automated logistics, particularly strengthening its capacity to deliver baggage, cargo and digital airport solutions.
