The Team:
The Specialist Pharmacist team at the Department of Health Tasmania works as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare environment to provide expert clinical pharmacy services that improve patient outcomes. Working closely with medical, nursing, and allied health staff, Specialist Pharmacists contribute advanced clinical knowledge, medication management, and evidence‑based advice in their area of expertise. The team is committed to patient safety, quality use of medicines, and continuous improvement, fostering a collaborative, professional, and supportive workplace focused on delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
The Role:
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team aimed at optimising patient outcomes by providing a specialist clinical pharmacy service to the Pharmacotherapy and Inpatient Withdrawal Units of the Alcohol and Drug Service and other centres as required.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term part time, shift-worker position working 32 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 4 January 2027.
*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Salary: $110,425 - $121,097 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
