Job requirements

The Data Privacy Administrator will support the Data Privacy Lead in ensuring that our work complies with data protection legislation. The main responsibilities will be:

To support the Data Privacy Lead in their duties relating to data protection;

Monitor progress of Data Subject Access Requests, ensuring timelines are met; managing the end to end lifecycle of requests

Maintain records of all data subject access request issues and breaches, providing MI and further information as required;

Validate requests, collate, redact & prepare DSAR packs in line with Aptia’s internal procedures

Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather required information

Escalate complex or high risk cases

Other duties as required.

Job Summary

Experience and education requirements

Essential:

  • Pensions Industry experience;
  • Experience in a legal, audit or risk management role;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information;
  • Strong IT skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

Desirable:

  • Some data protection
  • Proficiency with software for preparing reports and presentations.

  • Basic knowledge of technical data privacy and GDPR laws.
