Job Description
Our leading healthcare facility is looking for an experienced Specialist Otolaryngologist (ENT Specialist) to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical and surgical expertise with a patient-centered approach. Specialist Otolaryngology is an established UAE licensing title.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations, examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Diagnose and manage conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, sinuses, and head and neck.
- Manage conditions such as sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, tonsillitis, otitis, hearing disorders, vertigo, tinnitus, and sleep-related breathing disorders.
- Perform appropriate ENT procedures and minor surgical interventions within the scope of expertise.
- Perform and interpret nasal endoscopy, otoscopy, laryngoscopy, and other ENT diagnostic procedures.
- Evaluate patients with hearing, balance, voice, swallowing, and airway disorders.
- Manage acute ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, airway obstruction, foreign bodies, and severe infections.
- Perform elective ENT surgeries, including tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, and sinus procedures where appropriately trained.
- Review and interpret audiometry, imaging, laboratory investigations, and other diagnostic results.
- Coordinate with audiologists, speech therapists, radiologists, pediatricians, and other specialists when required.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with UAE healthcare standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- MS / DNB / MRCS / FRCS / Arab Board or equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification in Otolaryngology / ENT.
- Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
- Strong experience in clinical ENT and common ENT surgical procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and patient-management skills.
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
