Your role and key responsibilities
We are looking for a Organization & Workforce Development Specialist. This role play a critical role in shaping the organizational foundation for PowerCo’s operations in St Thomas. This role will collaborate closely with the HR and Finance teams in St. Thomas, colleagues at PowerCo SE Headquarters in Germany.
The Specialist will be responsible for implementing, and coordinating strategies to strengthen organizational efficiency, workforce readiness, and long-term scalability. This includes developing and aligning organizational structures, workforce planning, and change management initiatives to support PowerCo’s rapid growth and evolving business needs. The Specialist will also support implementation of compensation related initiatives.

What makes you stand out
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Organizational Development or equivalent.
Core Skills & Expertise
• Ability to create well organized, accurate, and concise material and work documentation for organizational use.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of work force management tools and the ability to maintain them.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong project & process management skills with a proven ability to identify and incorporate opportunities for process improvement.
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally & Strong written, verbal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is considered an asset.

Attractive Remuneration: The expected competitive compensation range for this position is $87,650- $131,470 CAD, which includes base pay and target amount of short term incentive plan.

At PowerCo, we are shaping the battery future. Founded by the Volkswagen Group in 2022, PowerCo is a globally operating battery cell manufacturer with a strong commitment to sustainability. The company, headquartered in Salzgitter, is rooted in Europe and is responsible for the development and production of battery cells, as well as the vertical integration of the value chain.
