A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic

Responsibilities

Operational design, requirements and integration with standards

  • Contribute to the definition of operational requirements by providing the necessary field expertise to ensure that the proposed solutions are realistic, applicable and aligned with operations.
  • Review the processes proposed by the Product team in order to validate their integration with existing operational standards.
  • Identify operational gaps, dependencies, and impacts related to the development of new processes, including on quality, productivity, capacity, equipment, roles and responsibilities, and scalability of operations.
  • Formulate operational recommendations to adjust solutions, reduce implementation risks and ensure an efficient transition to operations.

Readiness of stations and deployment of national initiatives

  • Plan and coordinate station preparation prior to pilots, ramp-ups and national deployments, including requirements for resources, facilities, tools, equipment, communications and operational support.
  • Ensure that the stations involved understand the change, new processes, success criteria, performance expectations, and escalation mechanisms prior to launch.
  • Coordinate the execution of pilots and deployments with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between operations, PMO, BA, ENGINEERING, SOPs, and training.
  • Validate that supporting documents, SOPs, work instructions, and training content are aligned with the business process prior to deployment.

Monitoring, performance and post-pilot improvement

  • Monitor the execution of the initiatives deployed, identify obstacles in the field and coordinate mitigation actions with the teams concerned.
  • Monitor KPIs, readiness criteria, action plans and field feedback to assess the effectiveness of the deployment and the stability of the new process.
  • Document challenges, learnings, and opportunities for improvement to strengthen future deployments and reduce the risk of operational rework.
  • Support the transition to teams responsible for continuous execution once the process is stabilized.

Required skills

  • Influential leadership and ability to mobilize multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent understanding of operations, logistics, and change management principles.
  • Strong analytical, complex problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic and transforming environment.
  • Rigor, sense of organization and results-oriented.
  • Strong autonomy and ability to act as a consultant to internal teams.

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in operations, project management, transformation or process improvement (logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale cross-functional projects, including multi-site deployments.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Jira.
  • Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI or equivalent).
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma or Agile certifications considered strong assets.
  • Experience with SOP/WI documentation and operational KPIs.
