Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6-month fixed term contract to cover equal family leave within the surgical team at Cave Veterinary Specialists.

The applicant would preferably be a European or American board certified (ECVS/ACVS) surgeon, we will also consider candidates who have completed an ECVS/ACVS accredited residency.

This role will require the candidate to

  • Provide clinical services as a specialist consultant in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery cases
  • Work with the surgery team for the development of the services
  • Work collaboratively with all other services and foster good interdepartmental relationships
  • Demonstrate professional standards that will advance patient care
  • Contribute equally with colleagues to an emergency out of hours rota on no more than a 1:4 share
