Specialist – MLOps Engineer

What you will do

As an MLOps Engineer, the job holder is responsible for efficiently, securely, and scalably bringing machine‑learning models into production and ensuring their long-term operation. The job holder will work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and Business Stakeholders to ensure that ML solutions can be operated in a robust, reproducible, and compliant manner. The job holder will build and operate central platform components, develop automated ML pipelines across the entire model lifecycle, and drive continuous improvement.

MLOps Processes & Workflows

• Build, automate, and operate end-to-end ML pipelines across Snowflake and SAP (training, testing, deployment, monitoring). Ensure reproducibility of models through versioning of data, code, and model artifacts. Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for machine-learning models

Platform & Infrastructure

• Operate and further develop the ML platform, for example Snowflake ML, SAP BTP/Joule, or similar tools. Ensure scalability, security and governance throughout the entire ML lifecycle

Monitoring & Operations

• Build monitoring for model performance, drift, data quality, and infrastructure metrics. Set up alerting mechanisms and automated retraining processes. Troubleshoot and continuously optimize production ML models

Governance & Compliance

• Establish standards for model documentation, auditability, and risk assessment. Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements for data-driven solutions. Support the introduction of MLOps best practices across the organization
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers and business analysts to understand requirements, align priorities, and ensure stable operations that support business needs

What you will need

Educational qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related field
  Fluent command of English

Technical qualifications

• 5 to 10 years’ experience in analytics environments using Snowflake or SAP
• > 3 years in-depth experience with Snowflake machine‑learning models in a production environment with strong focus on ensuring their long-term operation
• Strong programming skills in Python & SQL and familiarity with common ML frameworks
• Experience building CI/CD workflows with Azure DevOps
• Familiar with data integration tools like Azure Data Factory
• Knowledge of Data Governance (Security, Access control, etc.)
• High level understanding of Data Warehousing concepts & frontend tools for reporting like Power BI
• High level understanding on business processes
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work in unfamiliar domains and quickly understand issues reported by user
