About this job:
Leads, designs, develops, and supports the implementation of professional learning that strengthens instruction for Multilingual Learners (MLL), across District and Charter programs. This role contributes to the creation of high-quality instructional materials and learning experiences, while supporting program coordination, continuous improvement, and alignment to district priorities and state and local Consent Decree compliance requirements.

What You'll Do:
• Design and deliver professional learning for educators (ECE–12) using expertise in Multilingual Learner (MLL) instruction to build capacity for high quality language teaching
• Develop aligned instructional resources (WIDA, Colorado Academic Standards, district priorities) that translate effective MLL practices into clear, actionable adult learning
• Audit and refine course content to ensure alignment with Consent Decree requirements, district goals, and MLL best practices
• Design differentiated professional learning pathways (e.g., Newcomer vs. Long-Term MLL frameworks)
• Analyze educator and student data (ACCESS, state assessments, surveys) to identify gaps and inform program improvements
• Lead continuous improvement by identifying root causes, optimizing systems/processes, and implementing sustainable solutions
• Design and deliver engaging online learning using adult learning theory and district platforms (e.g., Schoology, PowerSchool PL, Articulate 360, Google Workspace)
• Ensure accessibility and quality of materials, including alignment to learning objectives and WCAG 2.2 standards
• Manage program operations, including documentation, compliance (Consent Decree, audits), logistics, timelines, and reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support implementation of MLL initiatives, improve systems, and maintain SOPs aligned to state and district requirements
