What we are looking for:

Yazaki is looking for a Material Planner to join our Production Control team in El Paso, TX. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative and action-driven environment making lasting impacts on the organization.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage pipeline inventory to support customer requirements while maintaining target inventory levels and minimizing extraordinary costs.
  • Issue timely orders to manufacturing and coordinate incoming timing with internal departments.
  • Manage premium freight, obsolescence, balance-out activities, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, manufacturing, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues and communicate potential impacts.
  • Support engineering changes, customer requests, reporting, forecasting, and required Production Control activities.
  • Represent Production Control at customer and manufacturing meetings and appropriately escalate issues when necessary.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively support customers and cross-functional teams.
