Position: Specialist - Laboratory

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist - Laboratory to join our client in Tripoli, Libya. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory work and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. The Specialist - Laboratory will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and analyses, interpreting results, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Conduct various laboratory tests and analyses using specialized equipment and techniques
• - Interpret and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and precision
• - Maintain accurate and organized records of all laboratory tests and data
• - Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during testing
• - Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• - Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
• - Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new testing methods and procedures
• - Stay informed on industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology
• - Train and mentor junior laboratory staff
• - Communicate effectively with clients and provide timely and accurate reports on test results
• - Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• - Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. chemistry, biology, biochemistry)
• - Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a laboratory setting
• - Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
• - Experience working with specialized laboratory equipment and instruments
• - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
• - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• - Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a laboratory setting
• - Fluent in English (written and spoken)
