Job Description

What awaits you?

  • Collect, validate, and align requirements for components in new product line and motor projects; ensure agreement of T-requirements with the Development Department and the process integrator for all assigned processes and systems.
  • Plan, optimize, and continuously improve commissioning and testing equipment and basic systems within the scope of responsibility; drive ongoing development of related plants, processes, and equipment.
  • Lead the Production Capability assessment (Cpk) and manage the handover to production (HN); ensure timely delivery of Cpk results and readiness for production ramp-up.
  • Guarantee on-time implementation and maintenance of process descriptions in the construction planning system (ZMD), including documentation for commissioning and testing equipment; oversee equipment availability and defect elimination within the process.
  • Develop, specify, plan, implement, and document plant engineering and associated test knowledge to ensure robust and efficient processes per project assignment; standardize, pilot, and implement system technology and integrate it into the involved plants as required by the project.
  • Plan, implement, and document the responsible test knowledge for current derivatives and new derivatives; support functional specialists and process integrators in defining, positioning, optimizing, and adapting test knowledge for derivatives and model-year measures; maintain assigned TVGs in alignment with Fachteam agreements.
  • Actively participate in Fachteam activities, including network tasks and front-end/back-end responsibilities as needed; ensure test knowledge adjustments for current derivatives, maintaining accuracy and commonality across locations.

What should you bring along?

  • B.Eng Electrical/Electronic engineering or B.Tech Electronic engineering
  • Strong IT-Knowledge/Background.
  • 3-5 years experience in quality and project steering in teams.
  • 3-5 years experience in the motor industry.
  • Technical experience with BMW vehicles.
  • Electrical analysis, minimum 3 years.
  • Knowledge of E/E automotive board net architecture and ECUs. Programming abilities will be advantageous.
