JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary

Provides administrative support for Wisconsin IRIS program operations, including referrals, enrollment, eligibility, service authorization and other administrative related requirements of the IRIS program. Contributes to overarching strategy to provide quality and cost-effective care.

Essential Job Duties

• Supports referrals, enrollments, disenrollments, workload assignments, ongoing eligibility, financial eligibility, welcome calls, prior authorizations, individualized service plan activities and other administrative and clerical requirements related to the Wisconsin IRIS program.
• Provides consultation, training, and support to field staff.
• Provides support to field staff completing data entry and tracking within Wisconsin IT system, SharePoint, and Power BI programs.
• Processes incoming email requests and assists with outgoing and incoming calls.
• Participates in team discussions, assists with projects, and engages in problem-solving and overall process development and implementation.
• Follows directions to meet established protocols and deadlines.
• Provides technical support and customer service.
• Researches and provides assistance on inquiries received from staff, program participants, partner agencies, vendors, etc.
• Assists with projects as requested by leadership.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of applicable administrative and/or health care experience, preferably serving the target groups of the IRIS program (adults with physical or intellectual disabilities or older adults), or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or commensurate experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and maintain strictest confidentiality.
• Ability to focus on multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented, and ability to learn and incorporate new tasks quickly.
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Ability to analyze data, draw appropriate conclusions and implement solutions.
• Ability to seek out opportunities to learn and grow, embrace challenges and learn from them.
• Flexibility in the work environment, and willingness and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs.
• Data entry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office suite/applicable software program(s) proficiency.
