At LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc., the Specialist I- Production Planning supports production planning and scheduling activities within a high-volume manufacturing environment to help align customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels. This role assists in maintaining production schedules, tracking inventory, and updating planning data to support daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support development and maintenance of production plans and schedules.
  • Track production progress and inventory levels to support daily planning activities.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining production and inventory data within planning systems.
  • Support communication of production schedules and updates to production and cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with inventory tracking and cycle counts, identifying discrepancies and reporting issues.
  • Collect and organize production and inventory data for reporting and analysis.
  • Support resolution of routine production or scheduling issues by coordinating with internal teams.
  • Maintain planning files, reports, and system data to ensure information is accurate and up to date.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations within a high-volume production environment.
  • Experience in production scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.
  • Experience analyzing production and inventory data to support operational decisions.
  • Experience working in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using systems for planning and inventory tracking.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production operations.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and support decision making.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a production environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support operational demands.
