Job Description

The Specialist, Hotel Productivity supports the implementation of hotel productivity improvement and workforce optimization initiatives across Greater China. This role assists in project execution, conducts data analysis, coordinates with hotels and functional teams, and helps drive the adoption of productivity standards and tools to enhance operational efficiency and support regional business goals.

Specific Job Summary

  • Assist in the implementation and follow-up of hotel productivity initiatives, including workforce optimization, flexible staffing models (e.g., iJobs / gig workforce), and operational efficiency projects
  • Support project activities across multiple productivity workstreams, including timeline tracking, action item follow-up, data collection, and preparation of project materials.
  • Conduct data analysis on labor productivity, staffing structure, operational metrics, and cost-related indicators to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with regional HRs, hotel operations, finance, and other stake holders to ensure smooth implementation of productivity programs.
  • Provide guidance and support to hotels on labor planning, scheduling optimization, and workforce deployment strategies
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentation materials to track progress, summarize results, and communicate updates.
  • Support training, communication, and change management activities to promote productivity frameworks, methodologies, and best practice sharing across the region

Specific Expected Contributions

Project Support & Implementation

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring productivity improvement initiatives and action plans.
  • Support pilot hotel implementation, track progress, collect feedback, and document lessons learned.
  • Ensure timely follow-up of action items and deliverables to support overall project milestones.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, clean, and analyze labor, operational, and productivity data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and management summaries to track performance and efficiency gains.
  • Support data validation and insight generation for regional and global updates.

Coordination & Stakeholder Support

  • Serve as a coordination point between regional teams, hotel teams, and GC functions.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and training to drive awareness and adoption.
  • Support communication materials and change management efforts for productivity initiatives.

Process & Documentation

  • Help maintain standardized processes, tools, templates, and guidelines for productivity management.
  • Document best practices, implementation guides, and training materials for hotel usage.

Specific Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Operations, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of working experience in hospitality, HR operations, project coordination, data analysis, or operational support.
  • Experience supporting productivity, efficiency, cost optimization, or workforce-related projects is preferred.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to organize data and generate insights. Proficiency in data tools (Excel, Power BI or similar analytics tools preferred)
  • Solid project coordination, follow-up, and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
  • Proactive and willing to learn in a dynamic environment
  • Strong sense of accountability and reliability
