In this role, you'll:


Provide high quality heritage technical advisory services and manage the delivery of heritage approvals for a diverse pipeline of Transport infrastructure projects.

You will lead the development of innovative heritage conservation approaches and improve heritage practices across the organisation.

The position also fosters strong collaboration to achieve sustainable heritage outcomes within a complex environment of varied stakeholders and evolving legislation.

About you


Your deep knowledge of heritage legislation and conservation practice, developed across heritage management, conservation and related fields, will see you excel in guiding compliance, overcoming regulatory challenges and embedding effective heritage strategies.

You’re recognised as a trusted leader and advisor, skilled at translating complex heritage requirements into practical solutions and experienced in leading teams, managing heritage programs and engaging stakeholders to deliver high standards.

You will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant heritage discipline.

About ANSTO

ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments.
