About this opportunity:
The Network Engineer performs design, optimization and audit of a network to meet the customer requirements. The role is focused on executing design, audit and optimization services, where the network engineer is responsible for part of the solution and part of the service process. The Network Engineer is responsible to upkeep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and Customer contract.
What you will do:
Accountable for day-to-day delivery of the assigned project towards the MA.
Customer facing role
Analyzing & troubleshooting different network related issues
Interact with internal and external stakeholders for delivery execution
Excellent communication skills
Troubleshoots network problems and implements corrective action
Responsible for IP Networks Design, Deployment/configuration, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and workaround / solution definition activities for the assigned project.
Analysis of KPIs, ensure all project KPI(s) are met as per agreed targets/SLA’s.
Optimization of MPBN and ISP networks.
Support for field tests as required for new features and/or HW.
The skills you bring:
7-9 years of industry experience with excellent exposure on IP Design, Planning, Deployment & Troubleshooting in IP networks / MPBN / Telecom & ISP based networks.
Excellent understanding & experience on Routing Protocols like OSPF, BGP, IS- IS, MPLS, Traffic Engineering, QoS (Quality of Service) in IP networks.
Extensive hands-on experience on IP routing protocols / technologies L2/L3 IP/MPLS VPNs, VPLS & EVPN, IGPs (All) on Cisco & Juniper routers.
Good hands-on experience in Configuration of IP Networks (Routing/Switching) – Cisco, Juniper, Nokia and Cisco ACI.
Good hands-on experience in Troubleshooting of IP Networks – Network related issues.
Prepares High-level design / Low-level design (HLD/LLD) independently.
Good understanding of Segment routing.
Excellent communication skills
Subject matter expertise on operator network and understanding.
Successful track record and strong background in large-scale network operational organizations.
Excellent customer handling skills.
Ability to learn the working of new nodes which are added in the network.
Experience on automation & scripting would be a plus.
Ability to guide and support other engineers
IP Professional Certifications (CCNP / Cisco Encore/ Cisco DC Core) is required.
Open to work for a Global operator with rotational Night shifts.
