Job's mission

Digital transformation creates value when people understand new technology, feel confident using it and can see how it improves their work. As our Digital Change & Adoption Graduate, you will help colleagues across ASM adopt digital products, data capabilities, AI solutions and new ways of working. You will join our Global Digital Transformation organization and gain hands-on experience in communication, change, learning and digital adoption while helping turn transformation into measurable business value.

This is a development opportunity for an early-career candidate who is curious about people, business and technology. You will receive guidance and mentoring from experienced colleagues while contributing to strategic transformation initiatives in an international environment.

As your experience and confidence grow, your responsibilities will develop with you. The role can help you explore future career paths in areas such as change management, business analysis, HR and digital transformation.

What you will be working on

  • Support communication, engagement and adoption activities for company-wide digital initiatives.
  • Help create practical adoption plans that identify audiences, desired behaviors, key messages, communication channels and intended outcomes.
  • Gather feedback through interviews, short surveys and available usage insights to understand audience needs, adoption barriers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create guides, videos, demonstrations and hands-on sessions that help colleagues understand and use digital tools.
  • Support ASM’s Change Agent community by preparing materials, coordinating briefings and helping local teams organize adoption activities.
  • Turn technical topics and announcements into clear, engaging content that explains what is changing, why it matters and what colleagues need to do.
  • Create stories, posts, short videos, demonstrations and learning materials for channels such as Viva Engage, SharePoint, Teams and the intranet.
  • Maintain and improve the Global Digital Transformation Hub on SharePoint, helping keep information current, useful and easy to find.
  • Gather examples that show how digital products, data capabilities, AI solutions and new ways of working create value and improve how colleagues experience work.
  • Support ASM’s Data and AI Literacy Program through content, communication, coordination and rollout activities.
  • Use ASM-provided AI tools to explore ideas, tailor content and analyze feedback, while checking outputs and following ASM requirements.
  • Help run small experiments to explore how AI, digital tools and emerging technologies could improve communication, learning, knowledge sharing and adoption.
  • Collaborate with HR, Corporate Communications, Change Agents, Cyber Security and AI specialists, digital product teams and transformation programs across regions.
  • Turn user feedback, employee insights and adoption data into practical recommendations that help teams improve outcomes.

What we are looking for

  • A degree in Communication, Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, Organizational Studies or equivalent
  • Clear and engaging written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Curiosity about people, business, technology and learning, with an interest in what helps people adopt new ways of working.
  • A fresh perspective and willingness to ask thoughtful questions, test ideas and propose better approaches.
  • Initiative, attention to detail and the ability to turn ideas into action, seek feedback and collaborate across functions and cultures.
  • Comfort working with qualitative and quantitative information, with a willingness to learn how to interpret feedback and adoption data.
  • Enthusiasm for exploring digital tools, AI and emerging technologies responsibly, including checking outputs before relying on them.
  • Ability to explain ideas clearly and practically to different audiences.
  • Interest in the semiconductor industry and a desire to learn how ASM operates.

What sets you apart

You may have gained some of the following experience through university coursework, student organizations, volunteering, internships, personal projects or part-time work:

  • Basic research skills, such as interviewing, designing short surveys, conducting user research or interpreting feedback.

About ASM

At ASM, we’re shaping the future at the atomic level. We enable the next generation of microchips by empowering leading semiconductor manufacturers with advanced wafer processing equipment.

Through our mastery of thin-film deposition, we create the innovative tools and solutions that shape the materials at the heart of tomorrow’s technology – powering everything from AI and next-generation healthcare to cloud computing and smarter, more energy-efficient devices.

With over 4,600 people representing more than 60 nationalities across 15 locations worldwide, we’re united by one ambition: to stay ahead of what’s next. And with research centers in seven countries and nearly a quarter of our people and profits devoted to research and development, excellence is our baseline, not our finish line.

Our pioneering thin-film deposition technologies – like atomic layer deposition, epitaxy, silicon carbide, chemical vapor deposition and vertical furnaces – help our customers push the limits of performance, speed, and efficiency. Our strong patent portfolio, flat organization, and agile way of working enable fast collaboration, global mobility, and a competitive edge far beyond our scale.

Every day, we work to make integrated circuits smaller, faster, more energy-efficient, and more powerful. Together, we’re advancing technologies that unlock new potential and improve lives.
