Responsibilities:

• Planning, design, and implementation, as well as maintenance, repair, and management of access control systems, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, electronic and mechanical locking systems, and perimeter security at the IPW

• Planning, design, and implementation of access control systems, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, and electronic and mechanical locking systems across all locations

• Troubleshooting and reviewing technical alerts from external systems in the emergency call and service control center

• Overseeing and coordinating the inspection of security equipment

• Customer support in the area of event management (media technology)

• Procurement, operation, and maintenance of emergency radio and alerting technology

• Comprehensive order processing for the assigned area of responsibility (quotation preparation, project management, documentation, invoicing)

• Participation in emergency management and event security

• Participation in facility security as needed

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training with a focus on electrical engineering / communications engineering

• In-depth knowledge of access control systems, electronic control systems, IT hardware, and network technology

• Completed facility security training or a willingness to pursue further training in the field of security (e.g., Certified Security Officer)

• Ability to work independently and a strong sense of responsibility

• Openness, friendliness, and courtesy when interacting with colleagues and customers

• Class B driver’s license

• You have strong communication skills, excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, SAP GUI), as well as excellent German and good English skills
