Why this role matters
The Salvation Army (TSA) Supported Accommodation and After-Hours Crisis Response Services works with adult and child victim survivors who have experienced or are experiencing family violence. The program provides a welcoming and accessible environment that is safe and supportive to individual needs.
About the role
We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to deliver assessments, crisis response and specialist Family Violence crisis case management services to victim survivors.
The role also includes working with individuals and families intensively to provide support to move through the crisis program to safe and longer-term accommodation.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a fixed-term full-time position, contracted until July 2027, based on-site in Sunshine, VIC.
Conditions
Compensation is in accordance with the SCHADS Award Level 5.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
