ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Every child deserves to feel safe, seen and supported. At the Karratha Women and Children’s Centre, you will play a meaningful role in helping children and young people rebuild their sense of safety and belonging after experiences of family and domestic violence. This is work that changes the trajectory of lives. It is work that strengthens families. It is work that matters.
As a Specialist Family Violence Children’s Practitioner, you will champion the voices of children and young people, create spaces where they can thrive and empower parents to build healthy, nurturing relationships. Your presence, your skills and your compassion will make a real difference every single day.

The role blends therapeutic work, case management, safety planning and community engagement.
