Job Title: Finishing Engineer - Mixed-Use Development Construction Project

Location: Mumbai, India

JLL is seeking an experienced Finishing Engineer to manage and oversee all finishing aspects of our mixed-use development construction project in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Finishing within the construction industry and experience with various document management systems. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient information flow, maintaining accurate records, and supporting project compliance and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive finishing system for the project
• Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, and filing of all project documents
• Ensure all documents are properly coded, indexed, and stored according to project standards
• Maintain version control and track document revisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate document reviews and approvals among various project stakeholders
• Prepare and distribute regular document status reports to the project team
• Manage access rights and security for project documentation
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of project reports, presentations, and other deliverables
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures
• Provide training and support to team members on document control processes and systems
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to improve document management processes
• Assist in the closeout and archiving of project documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering (BE Civil)/post graduate
• 3-5 years of experience in document control, preferably in construction or real estate development projects
• Proven experience in managing documentation aspects of construction management
• Strong knowledge of document control principles and best practices
• Proficiency in document management software and systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (knowledge of Marathi is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of multiple document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Primavera Unifier, SharePoint)
• Understanding of construction processes and terminology
• Experience with electronic document management and collaboration tools
