Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for Specialist Engineer QA/QC under ADNOC Offshore US LTPD project.
Job Objectives
- Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of quality assurance and quality control systems across projects and operations.
- Monitor compliance with project specifications, company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Support the delivery of projects by promoting quality excellence, continuous improvement, and adherence to established quality management procedures.
- Identify quality risks, implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve quality objectives and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor QA/QC processes, procedures, and quality management systems.
- Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and applicable standards.
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities to verify compliance with quality requirements.
- Monitor and track non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions.
- Review quality-related documents, technical submittals, inspection reports, and material certifications.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve quality issues and improve performance.
- Prepare quality reports, KPI dashboards, and management summaries.
- Support internal and external audits, client inspections, and regulatory reviews.
- Promote quality awareness, continuous improvement, and lessons learned initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO requirements, and project quality objectives.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
- Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
- Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
