Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for Lead Planning & Cost Control under ADNOC Offshore US LTPD project.

Job Objective

  • Lead the planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and cost control functions across projects to ensure delivery within approved scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, cost forecasts, and performance measurement systems that support effective decision-making and project governance.
  • Provide management with accurate project performance analysis, identifying schedule delays, cost variances, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure the implementation of planning and cost control best practices, standards, and procedures across all project phases.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to achieve project objectives and optimize project performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules and cost control systems.
  • Establish project baselines, budgets, forecasts, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, and resource utilization against approved plans.
  • Analyze schedule and cost variances and recommend corrective and recovery actions.
  • Prepare and present periodic project controls reports, dashboards, and performance updates.
  • Conduct cost forecasting, cash flow analysis, and earned value management (EVM) reporting.
  • Assess the schedule and cost impact of project changes, variations, and risks.
  • Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to ensure alignment of project objectives.
  • Lead and mentor planning and cost control team members.
  • Ensure compliance with project controls procedures, company standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
  • Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
