What You'll Do

We are currently seeking an Email & Database Marketing Specialist to support the digital development of consumer-facing messages of our Wilson Hardgoods business and our baseball brands (DeMarini, Louisville Slugger, EvoShield, ATEC & Team.Shop) including batch-send emails, automated emails and SMS messages.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating and executing campaign-based email sends by working with the marketing and creative services teams to align content with email best practices (ex. recommend ideal content layouts or content features, make copy edits, etc.)
  • Updating automated marketing workflows/journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Braze
  • Working & collaborating closely with outside vendors: ex: Movable Ink
  • Executing A/B tests to improve email engagement rates and conversion rates
  • Launch SMS marketing campaigns & optimize existing triggered campaigns
  • Contributing to email or SMS performance reporting and CRM metrics analysis
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulations (CCPA, GDPR, etc.), ISPs, monitoring tools and best practices
  • Staying abreast of changes in landscape that require adjustment of strategies to ensure deliverability; recommending changes to Wilson Family of Brands’ email program where opportunities are found
  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

This role requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in an email or marketing-related role.

Additional familiarity with any of the following is preferred: Ecommerce, Sporting goods or lifestyle apparel / “athleisure-wear” industries, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze or other enterprise level ESPs, Knowledge of best email practices, Proofreading and marketing copywriting, and/or HTML/CSS or languages like AMPscript or Liquid for personalization use cases.

Other qualifications include:

  • Ability to juggle multiple competing deadlines and responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to understand and integrate feedback from partners who are not channel experts
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Should be able to make judgements about marketing comms to determine if a message will ‘make sense’ to the target consumer

What We’ll Provide

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $60,000 - $70,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.
