ready portfolio and delivery insights through the orchestration of data pipelines, reporting solutions, and portfolio tooling. This role ensures that portfolio data is accessible, reliable, and integrated across systems to support leadership decision-making, governance processes, and value realization tracking. The analyst collaborates with portfolio leaders, delivery teams, and business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights and maintain high standards of data quality across the demand-to-delivery lifecycle.
What will you do in this role
-Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to integrate portfolio and delivery data across systems (e.g., TargetProcess, Jira, and related platforms).
- Build and maintain data flows supporting portfolio insight generation, reporting, and governance processes.
- Collaborate with portfolio leads, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Develop and deliver dashboards and reports aligned with stakeholder needs using tools such as Power BI or equivalent.
- Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, and continuous monitoring of portfolio and delivery datasets.
- Enable end-to-end traceability across portfolio intent and delivery execution through integrated data models.
- Automate data pipelines, reporting workflows, and refresh cycles to improve efficiency and timeliness of insights delivery.
- Utilize orchestration, logging, and monitoring tools to ensure reliability and performance of data pipelines.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data pipelines, reporting tools, and portfolio systems.
- Maintain documentation for data pipelines, reporting assets, and data models to support scalability and onboarding.
- Identify data anomalies, quality gaps, and reporting risks; partner with stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Continuously improve portfolio data capabilities through automation, reusable data patterns, and AI-assisted analytics practices.
- Work within a matrix organizational structure and support governance forums, QBRs, and leadership decision processes.
What should you have
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field Experience:
- 3–6 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, data engineering, or portfolio/delivery data management roles
- Experience supporting cross-functional stakeholders with data, insights, or reporting
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, Power Query)
- Working knowledge of SQL (joins, aggregations, filtering, data validation)
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (Power BI preferred; Tableau or equivalent acceptable)
- Familiarity with data pipeline and integration concepts (ETL/ELT, data orchestration, data flows)
- Experience working with portfolio or delivery tools (TargetProcess, Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Exposure to automation tools (Power Automate, scripting, or similar workflow automation tools)
- Basic understanding of cloud data environments (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Understanding of data quality management practices (data validation, reconciliation, consistency checks)
Professional Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights for decision-making
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, global environment - Proactive, continuous improvement mindset
- Product- and stakeholder-focused approach
Preferred:
- Experience supporting portfolio management, governance, or Quarterly Business Review processes
- Experience integrating data across multiple enterprise systems
- Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools or techniques
- Experience building executive-level dashboards and decision-support insights
