Play a key role in strengthening cyber security practices across our complex operational and digital environments. This is an opportunity to act as a trusted advisor, shaping secure-by-design outcomes that support safe, reliable transport services for the people of NSW.
As a Cyber Advisory Specialist, you will provide expert guidance to ensure cyber security is embedded into decision-making, technology delivery, and operational practices.

About you
Experience in cyber security advisory, risk assessment, or security architecture within complex ICT or operational technology environments
Strong working knowledge of recognised frameworks such as:
-ISO 27001
-NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
-Essential Eight
Proven ability to deliver practical, risk-based cyber advice that aligns security with business goals and delivery outcomes
Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, providing trusted guidance beyond technical or compliance silos
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex cyber risks into clear, actionable insights
