As a Specialist Care Representative, you will build strong partnerships with key HCPs, drive scientific engagement, and deliver impactful solutions that elevate patient outcomes. This is your chance to grow in a dynamic, innovative, and highly collaborative environment.

Your new role

In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to healthcare professionals across your assigned territory, engaging specialist stakeholders through scientific dialogue and tailored account management. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of Novo Nordisk therapies, identifying new business opportunities, and elevating standards of care for patients with cardiometabolic diseases. Working crossfunctionally, you will combine scientific expertise, analytical thinking, and strong relationshipbuilding skills to deliver impactful commercial results while upholding the company’s high ethical standards.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute territory and account plans that support business objectives and align with brand and national strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with endocrinologists, diabetologists, obesity specialists, cardiologists and hospital stakeholders to ensure effective promotion of Novo Nordisk solutions.
  • Identify, access, and develop new strategic opportunities, including underutilized channels, and drive initiatives that expand market reach.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close agreements that contribute to regional and national sales targets.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional partners (e.g., MSLs, PCR, Field Sales Managers) to deliver coordinated and highquality customer engagement.
  • Capture and analyze customer insights, sales trends, and competitor activities, sharing learnings to support national planning and decisionmaking.
  • Represent Novo Nordisk with integrity, ensuring full compliance with regulations, internal policies, and the company’s ethical standards while contributing to national projects and medical congress activities.

Your new department

Joining our Sales Field team means becoming part of a vibrant, mission‑driven community dedicated to improving the lives of people living with chronic diseases. You’ll work alongside passionate colleagues who combine scientific excellence, deep market understanding, and genuine empathy for patients and healthcare professionals. We collaborate closely across functions, share insights, celebrate wins as a team, and empower each other to grow.

Your skills & qualifications

  • Educational background in paramedical, medical, scientific or business/management fields.
  • Fluent German and English, with Italian or French considered a strong advantage.
  • 3–5 years of proven pharma sales experience, ideally engaging specialists in hospital or clinical environments.
  • Track record in Key Account Management or strategic sales, with experience from FMCG, life sciences or healthcare viewed as a plus.
  • High-performing, customercentric mindset, with strong selling capabilities and ability to build lasting HCP relationships.
  • Strong business and industry understanding, able to analyse markets, identify opportunities and adapt in a fastchanging environment.
  • Collaborative team player with personal leadership, capable of making things happen, innovating, and managing a diverse product portfolio with confidence.
